New York Times

The New York Times includes a quote from me on their story about the proposed state of West Colorado. Thanks Jack Healy. Read the story here.

  1. I see it as a problem with conservatives in Colorado wanting to have like-minded leaders -- but when they leave, Colorado goes from being a purple state to solid blue. And conservatives outside of Colorado would fight to prevent that from happening. Is it conservatives vs. conservatives?

  2. "West" Colorado for eastern and northern counties sounds like an oxymoron if ever there were one. Since "Colorado" is Spanish for "Red" why not name it "Azul" which is Spanish for "Blue"? Sounds politically balanced to me.
